About This Piece
This monumental embroidery screen recreates the essence of Wang Ximeng's masterpiece "A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains" (千里江山图), one of China's most treasured paintings.
Master Liu Mei spent 18 months creating this piece, using over 200 shades of blue and green silk threads to capture the ethereal quality of the original. The mountains rise in misty layers, while tiny bridges and pavilions invite the eye to wander through the landscape.
The rosewood frame is hand-carved with cloud motifs, and the screen can be rotated to display from any angle. A museum-quality piece that transforms any space into a gallery.
